Starlink, the satellite internet constellation project developed by SpaceX, has the potential to revolutionize global internet connectivity. By deploying thousands of small satellites in low Earth orbit, Starlink aims to provide high-speed, low-latency internet access to underserved and remote areas that currently lack reliable connectivity. This could bridge the digital divide, offering educational, economic, and social benefits to millions of people worldwide. More importantly, Starlink's technology is continuously evolving, with improvements in bandwidth and coverage expected over time. However, challenges such as regulatory hurdles, the high cost of deployment, and concerns about space debris need to be addressed to fully realize its potential. If these obstacles can be overcome, Starlink could indeed be a game-changer in bringing the world closer together through enhanced internet access. If you live in an area where high speed internet is not an option, we have your solution!
Customer Base Starlink offers internet service for over a million locations worldwide, across all seven continents and allows people in rural areas the ability to connect to high-speed broadband. Per their website, "Starlink is ideally suited for areas of the globe where connectivity has typically been a challenge. Unbounded by traditional ground infrastructure, Starlink can deliver high-speed broadband internet to locations where access has been unreliable or completely unavailable." Having service available in select regions in the U.S., Canada and abroad, Starlink now has over 1.5 million subscribers.

What's the Cost?
Per Starlink's website (at the time of this article), the device costs $349-$599 and the monthly fee is $120 (in most cases). There is a 30-day trial period and if you do not like your service, you can cancel and receive a full refund. Another perk is no contracts to sign, so there is no ongoing commitment. There is usually a waitlist for Starlink, so if you are thinking about getting one, contact them as soon as possible. Wait times for the equipment ia about 1-2 weeks after placing the order.
Weather Resistant
The satellite is weather resilient, as it is designed to endure the elements, and can even melt snow on it, withstand sleet, heavy rains and harsh winds. These devices can also "on the go" and can be taken camping or installed on your weekend boat.

Starlink Setup
Once you have ordered and received your Starlink, the setup is easy. One requirement is that you must have a vast view of the sky from your property with no obstructions. Simply connect the small satellite dish at your home so that it can receive the signal and pass the bandwidth onto your router. The app allows customers to choose the best location for the dish whether it's on your roof, attached to the outside of your home or mount it in your yard.
